András Schiff speaks about Bach and his music. As much as he appears calm in the video he creates such enthusiasm for Bach’s music. Hearing András Schiff speak reminds me that I should read more on the great composers. It would help me to understand their music much more and learn more about the times in which they lived. A very interesting video: András Schiff explains Bach Dennis January 20, 2018 at 5:09 pm #15615 Jaak SikkKeymaster @Jaak Hi! He is probably the best person to talk about J.S.Bach to pianists. Thank you for sharing! Jaak January 26, 2018 at 1:56 pm #15678 Milan ZamazalParticipant @pdm Hi Dennis, thanks for sharing. I’m not much into history, but I’ve seen documentary Bach: A Passionate Life by John Eliot Gardiner a couple of years ago and it was very interesting.
