Favorite pianist currently would have to be Hélène Grimaud. Not only does she play a mean Rachmaninov concerto, but is also active in saving our environment with particular attention to the plight of wolves.
Other musicians and composers that inspire me include Suzanne Ciani, Jean Michel Jarre, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Vangelis. I also spend a lot of time seeking out and listening to many forms of folk music from both America and abroad.
